Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no valid vow except in what is intended to seek the pleasure of Allah , and no oath holds in severing ties of kinship."

حدثنا إسحاق بن عيسى حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد عن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث

عن عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا نذر إلا فيما ابتغي به وجه الله عز وجل ولا يمين في قطيعة رحم
