The Prophet ﷺ said, "The seller and the buyer each retain the right to cancel the transaction until they part ways, unless the deal was concluded with an option of choice. It is not permissible for either of them to leave the other out of fear that he might ask to revoke the sale."

أن النبي ﷺ قال البائع والمبتاع بالخيار حتى يتفرقا إلا أن يكون سفقة خيار ولا يحل له أن يفارقه خشية أن يستقيله
