The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade buying and selling inside the mosque, reciting poetry in it, announcing lost property in it, and forming circles in it on Friday before the prayer.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الشراء والبيع في المسجد وأن تنشد فيه الأشعار وأن تنشد فيه الضالة وعن الحلق يوم الجمعة قبل الصلاة
