The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not pluck out gray hairs, for they are the light of the Muslim. No Muslim grows a single gray hair in Islam except that a good deed is recorded for him because of it, a degree is raised for him because of it, or a sin is wiped away from him because of it."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تنتفوا الشيب فإنه نور المسلم ما من مسلم يشيب شيبة في الإسلام إلا كتب له بها حسنة ورفع بها درجة أو حط عنه بها خطيئة
