The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a military expedition. They gained spoils and returned quickly, and people began talking about how near their campaign had been, how plentiful their spoils, and how swift their return.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you of a campaign nearer in destination, greater in spoils, and swifter in return? Whoever performs ablution and then goes early to the mosque for the forenoon prayer, his is the nearer campaign, the greater in spoils, and the swifter in return."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثني حيي بن عبد الله أن أبا عبد الرحمن الحبلي حدثه
بعث رسول الله ﷺ سرية فغنموا وأسرعوا الرجعة فتحدث الناس بقرب مغزاهم وكثرة غنيمتهم وسرعة رجعتهم فقال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أدلكم على أقرب منه مغزى وأكثر غنيمة وأوشك رجعة من توضأ ثم غدا إلى المسجد لسبحة الضحى فهو أقرب مغزى وأكثر غنيمة وأوشك رجعة
