The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who takes back what he has given is like a dog that vomits and then eats from its vomit. If the giver takes back his gift, let him be confronted with what he has reclaimed, then let what he gave be returned to him."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال مثل الذي يسترد ما وهب كمثل الكلب يقيء فيأكل منه وإذا استرد الواهب فليوقف بما استرد ثم ليرد عليه ما وهب
