The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting and the Quran will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say, 'My Lord, I kept him from food and desires during the day, so let me intercede for him.' And the Quran will say, 'I kept him from sleep at night, so let me intercede for him.'" He said, "And so they will intercede."
حدثنا موسى بن داود حدثنا ابن لهيعة عن حيي بن عبد الله عن أبي عبد الرحمن الحبلي
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال الصيام والقرآن يشفعان للعبد يوم القيامة يقول الصيام أي رب منعته الطعام والشهوات بالنهار فشفعني فيه ويقول القرآن منعته النوم بالليل فشفعني فيه قال فيشفعان
