Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ with a son of his and said, "Messenger of Allah, this son of mine recites the Quran by day and stays up at night."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "What do you find blameworthy in your son spending his day in remembrance and his night in safety?"

أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ بابن له فقال يا رسول الله إن ابني هذا يقرأ المصحف بالنهار ويبيت بالليل فقال رسول الله ﷺ ما تنقم أن ابنك يظل ذاكرا ويبيت سالما
