Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My father slaughtered his sacrifice before performing the prayer."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Tell your father to pray and then slaughter."

حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثني حيي بن عبد الله المعافري أن أبا عبد الرحمن الحبلي حدثه

أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال إن أبي ذبح ضحيته قبل أن يصلي فقال رسول الله ﷺ قل لأبيك يصلي ثم يذبح
