Abdullah bin Umar reported,

In the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whenever we purchased food in bulk without measuring, we were forbidden from reselling it until we had transported it to our own dwellings.

حدثنا عبد الله قال قرأت على أبي هذا الحديث حدثنا حماد بن خالد الخياط حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري

عن سالم عن أبيه قال

كنا إذا اشترينا على عهد رسول الله ﷺ طعاما جزافا منعنا أن نبيعه حتى نؤويه إلى رحالنا
