I sat with Ibn Umar for two years and did not hear him narrate anything from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then he mentioned the hadith of the lizard.
حدثنا أبو قطن حدثنا شعبة عن عبد الله بن أبي السفر
جالست ابن عمر سنتين ما سمعته روى شيئا عن رسول الله ﷺ ثم ذكر حديث الضب أو الأضب

Its isnad is sahih. Abu Qatan is Amr bin Haytham bin Qatan, whose reliability was established earlier at 1053. The meaning of the hadith has already appeared at length at 5565 and 6213, through the narration of Shubah from Tawbah Anbari from Shaybi. Al-adhabb is pronounced with a fatha on the alif, a damma on the dad, and a doubled ba, and it is the plural of dabb (lizard).
