By Allah, it is part of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted to me that none hates me except a hypocrite, and none loves me except a believer.
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا الأعمش عن عدي بن ثابت عن زر بن حبيش قال
والله إنه مما عهد إلي رسول الله ﷺ أنه لا يبغضني إلا منافق ولا يحبني إلا مؤمن
Its isnad is sahih. Adi bin Thabit Ansari Kufi was a trustworthy Successor, and his being a Shia does not affect his narration, since he was trustworthy and truthful. The hadith was narrated by Muslim 1:35 through Amash, and in Dhakhair Mawarith 5323 it is noted that Tirmidhi, Nasai, and Ibn Majah also narrated it. It will come again at 731 and 1062.
