The Prophet ﷺ used to slaughter a camel on the day of Adha in Madinah. He said that whenever he did not slaughter a camel, he would slaughter a sheep instead.
حدثنا روح حدثنا ابن جريج قال بلغني عن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ كان ينحر يوم الأضحى بالمدينة قال وكان إذا لم ينحر ذبح
