The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to relate, "While I was sleeping, I saw myself brought a cup of milk. I drank from it until I could see the satisfaction flowing out through my limbs. Then I gave what was left of it to Umar bin Khattab."They asked, "How did you interpret that, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Knowledge."
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبي عن صالح قال ابن شهاب حدثني حمزة بن عبد الله بن عمر فذكره
Its isnad is sahih. It is a repetition of the previous hadith, and a repetition of 6142 with this same isnad, though there its wording was given in full. Something similar in meaning has also passed before, from the narration of Yunus at 5554, and from the narration of Aqeel at 5868, both of them from Zuhri, from Hamza bin Abdullah bin Umar, from his father.
