The Prophet ﷺ used to take the spear with him on the day of Fitr and Adha so that he could plant it in the ground and pray facing it.

أن النبي ﷺ كان يخرج بالعنزة معه يوم الفطر والأضحى لأن يركزها فيصلي إليها
