It was reported from the Prophet ﷺ that whenever he set out, he would leave by way of ash-Shajarah and return by way of al-Muarras.Ibn Numayr added, "And whenever he entered Mecca, he would enter through the upper pass and leave through the lower pass."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا عبيد الله وحماد يعني أبا أسامة قال أخبرني عبيد الله عن نافع
عن النبي ﷺ أنه كان إذا خرج خرج من طريق الشجرة ويدخل من طريق المعرس قال ابن نمير وإذا دخل مكة دخل من ثنية العليا ويخرج من ثنية السفلى
