When the Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah, he touched the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner, but did not touch any of the other corners.
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا حجاج عن عطاء وابن أبي مليكة وعن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ حين دخل مكة استلم الحجر الأسود والركن اليماني ولم يستلم غيرهما من الأركان
Its isnad is sahih. Hajjaj is Ibn Artah. Ataa is Ibn Abu Rabah. Ibn Abu Mulayka is Abdullah bin Ubaydullah bin Abu Mulayka. Nafi is the freedman of Ibn Umar, and Hajjaj bin Artah narrated this hadith from three of the successors, Ataa, Ibn Abu Mulayka, and Nafi, and all three of them narrated it from Ibn Umar. So his saying "and from Nafi" is meant simply as a conjunction linking him to the two before him, nothing more, but someone without knowledge of this understood it and mistakenly thought it pointed to another separate chain within the isnad. In fact the isnad is a single one going back through these three narrators. The hadith is given at greater length in 6017, and see also 6247 and 6248.
