The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out from Mina after praying the dawn prayer on the morning of the Day of Arafah, until he arrived at Arafah and stopped at Namirah, which is the place where the leader would stay at Arafah. When the time of the noon prayer came, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed early in the heat and combined the noon and afternoon prayers. Then he addressed the people, after which he proceeded and stood at the standing place at Arafah.

غدا رسول الله ﷺ من منى حين صلى الصبح في صبيحة يوم عرفة حتى أتى عرفة فنزل بنمرة وهي منزل الإمام الذي كان ينزل به بعرفة حتى إذا كان عند صلاة الظهر راح رسول الله ﷺ مهجرا فجمع بين الظهر والعصر ثم خطب الناس ثم راح فوقف على الموقف من عرفة
