The Prophet ﷺ said, "Islam is built upon five: the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, the establishment of prayer, the giving of zakat, the pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan."
حدثنا هاشم حدثنا عاصم عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ قال بني الإسلام على خمس شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وحج البيت وصوم رمضان
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim (201) also related it through Asim, with this same isnad. Its meaning has already appeared in a hadith through another, daif, route at (5672), where we pointed to this one.
