A man stood up and asked, "Messenger of Allah, what garments do you command us to wear during ihram?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Do not wear shirts, trousers, turbans, hooded cloaks, or leather socks, unless one cannot find sandals, in which case he may wear leather socks but should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by wars dye or saffron. A woman in ihram must not wear a face veil or gloves."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا ليث حدثني نافع
قام رجل فقال يا رسول الله ماذا تأمرنا أن نلبس من الثياب في الإحرام فقال له رسول الله ﷺ لا تلبسوا القمص ولا السراويلات ولا العمائم ولا البرانس ولا الخفاف إلا أن يكون أحد ليست له نعلان فليلبس الخفين ما أسفل من الكعبين ولا تلبسوا شيئا من الثياب مسه الورس ولا الزعفران ولا تنتقب المرأة الحرام ولا تلبس القفازين
