The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among the natural practices are shaving the pubic hair, trimming the nails, and clipping the moustache."On one occasion, Ishaq said, "and clipping the moustaches."
حدثنا إسحاق بن سليمان قال سمعت حنظلة يذكر عن نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ من الفطرة حلق العانة وتقليم الأظفار وقص الشارب وقال إسحاق مرة وقص الشوارب
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari reported it, 10/295, from Ahmad bin Abu Raja, from Ishaq bin Sulayman, with this isnad. Hanzala is Ibn Abu Sufyan Jumahi, and it occurs in Fath al-Bari in this place as "Ibn Sufyan Jumahi," which is a printing error, the correct form being "Ibn Abu Sufyan."The anah is the place where hair grows above the front private part of a woman, and above the penis of a man, and the hair growing there is called ashsharah, with a kasrah on the shin, a sukun on the ain, and a fathah on the ra.
