The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that dogs be killed, and I was among those sent out for this task. We went about killing dogs until we came upon a woman who had arrived from the desert, and we killed a dog belonging to her.
حدثنا روح حدثنا ابن جريج سمعت نافعا يقول
بعث رسول الله ﷺ في قتل الكلاب فكنت فيمن بعث فقتلنا الكلاب حتى وجدنا امرأة قدمت من البادية فقتلنا كلبا لها
