The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the lizard, and he said, "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
حدثنا حسين عن جرير عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ سئل عن الضب فقال لا آكله ولا أحرمه
Its isnad is sahih, and it is an abridgment of 5530, see also 5565.
