I asked Abdullah bin Umar about a woman whom a man wished to marry while he was leaving Makkah intending to perform Umrah or Hajj. He said, "Do not marry her while you are in the state of ihram. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that."
حدثنا عبد الله قال وجدت هذا الحديث في كتاب أبي بخط يده حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا أيوب بن عتبة

Its chain is daif, due to the weakness of Ayub bin Utba. The hadith is in Majma al-Zawaid 4:268, where it is said, Ahmad narrated it, and in it is Ayub bin Utba, who is daif, though he has also been graded thiqa. See what has preceded in the Musnad of Ibn Abbas, 3412, 3413.
