He used to dye his beard yellow, wear sandals tanned with qaraz, touch the two corners of the Kaaba, and begin the talbiyah when his mount stood upright with him on it. He would report that the Prophet ﷺ used to do the same.

أنه كان يصفر لحيته ويلبس النعال السبتية ويستلم الركنين ويلبي إذا استوت به راحلته ويخبر أن النبي ﷺ كان يفعله
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it is an abridgment of 5894, see also 5945.
