حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام حدثني يعلى بن حكيم سمعت سعيد بن جبير يحدث أنه

Its isnad is sahih. Yaala bin Hakeem Thaqafi, his reliability was already established in 462, and it should be added here that he was deemed reliable by Ahmad, Ibn Main, Abu Zura, and others, and Bukhari gave his biography in al-Kabir 4/2/417, 418. The hadith is a repetition of 5090. His saying, "he claims," appears in one copy in the margin of M as "the hadith."
