I asked Abdullah bin Umar, saying, "What do you say about fasting while traveling?"He replied, "Will you accept it if I tell you?"I said, "Yes."He said, "Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left this city, he would shorten the prayer and not fast until he returned to it."
