The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever wrongfully seizes any portion of land will be made to sink into the earth down to the seventh layer."
حدثنا عارم حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك حدثنا موسى بن عقبة عن سالم
عن النبي ﷺ قال من أخذ شيئا من الأرض ظلما خسف به إلى سبع أرضين
Its isnad is sahih. Arim is Muhammad bin Fadl Sadusi, whose reliability was established earlier at 1703, and what is added here is that Bukhari gave his biography in Al-Kabir 1/1/208. Bukhari related the hadith at 76:5 from Muslim bin Ibrahim, from Abdullah bin Mubarak, with this same isnad, in similar wording. Ibn Hajar noted in Al-Fath that Abu Awana also related it in his Sahih. Something similar in meaning has already passed in the hadith of Saeed bin Zayd at 1628, and in the hadith of Ibn Masud at 3767 and 3773.
