The Prophet ﷺ said, "The noble one, son of the noble one, son of the noble one, son of the noble one, is Yusuf, son of Yaqub, son of Ishaq, son of Ibrahim, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon them."
حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال الكريم ابن الكريم ابن الكريم ابن الكريم يوسف بن يعقوب بن إسحاق بن إبراهيم صلى الله عليهم وسلم
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it in 6:298 from Ishaq bin Mansur, and in 300 from Abdah, and in 8:273 from Abdullah bin Muhammad, all three of them from Abdul-Samad, with this isnad. Ibn Kathir quoted it in his Tafsir 4:413, 414 from this very passage, and said, "Bukhari alone reported it." Suyuti quoted it in Durr Manthur 4:4 and attributed it to Ahmad and Bukhari only.
