The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned on the day of Uhud and heard women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal weeping over their slain. He said, "But Hamza has no women to weep for him."So the women of the Ansar came and began weeping for Hamza in his presence. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then woke up while they were still weeping and said, "Woe to them, are they still here weeping until now? Tell them to go back, and let no one weep over the dead after this day."
حدثنا عثمان بن عمر حدثنا أسامة عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قدم يوم أحد فسمع نساء من بني عبد الأشهل يبكين على هلكاهن فقال لكن حمزة لا بواكي له فجئن نساء الأنصار يبكين على حمزة عنده فاستيقظ رسول الله ﷺ وهن يبكين فقال يا ويحهن أنتن هاهنا تبكين حتى الآن مروهن فليرجعن ولا يبكين على هالك بعد اليوم
