The Prophet ﷺ stood at Arafa with Usama bin Zayd riding behind him and said, "This is the standing place, and all of Arafa is a standing place."Then he set off, moving at a steady pace, while people were striking their mounts right and left. He kept turning to them and saying, "Calmly, people, calmly," until he reached Muzdalifa, where he combined the two prayers.Then he stood at Muzdalifa, taking his position at Quzah with Fadl bin Abbas riding behind him, and said, "This is the standing place, and all of Muzdalifa is a standing place."Then he set off, moving at a steady pace, while people were striking their mounts right and left. He kept turning to them and saying, "Calmly, calmly, people," until he reached Muhassir, where he urged his mount on so that it trotted until he passed through, then he returned to his earlier pace until he stoned the Jamra.Then he came to the place of sacrifice and said, "This is the place of sacrifice, and all of Mina is a place of sacrifice."Then a young woman from Khathaam came to him and said, "My father is a very old man, his mind is failing, and Allah's obligation of Hajj has reached him but he cannot perform it. Will it suffice for him if I perform it on his behalf?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Yes," and he kept turning the face of Fadl bin Abbas away from her.Then a man came to him and said, "I stoned the Jamra, performed the tawaf of ifada, and put on my clothes, but I did not shave my head."The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no harm. Shave."Then another man came and said, "I stoned the Jamra, shaved my head, and put on my clothes, but I did not slaughter."He said, "There is no harm. Slaughter."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the tawaf of ifada and called for a bucket of Zamzam water, from which he drank and made ablution. Then he said, "Draw water, sons of Abdul-Muttalib. Were it not that people would overwhelm you in this duty, I would have drawn it myself."Abbas said, "Messenger of Allah, I saw you turning your nephew's face away."He said, "I saw a young man and a young woman, and I feared Satan might tempt them."
حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد قال حدثني أحمد بن عبدة البصري حدثنا المغيرة بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث المخزومي حدثني أبي عبد الرحمن بن الحارث عن زيد بن علي بن حسين بن علي عن أبيه علي بن حسين عن عبيد الله بن أبي رافع مولى رسول الله ﷺ
أن النبي ﷺ وقف بعرفة وهو مردف أسامة بن زيد فقال هذا الموقف وكل عرفة موقف ثم دفع يسير العنق وجعل الناس يضربون يمينا وشمالا وهو يلتفت ويقول السكينة أيها الناس السكينة أيها الناس حتى جاء المزدلفة وجمع بين الصلاتين ثم وقف بالمزدلفة فوقف على قزح وأردف الفضل بن عباس وقال هذا الموقف وكل المزدلفة موقف ثم دفع وجعل يسير العنق والناس يضربون يمينا وشمالا وهو يلتفت ويقول السكينة السكينة أيها الناس حتى جاء محسرا فقرع راحلته فخبت حتى خرج ثم عاد لسيره الأول حتى رمى الجمرة ثم جاء المنحر فقال هذا المنحر وكل منى منحر ثم جاءته امرأة شابة من خثعم فقالت إن أبي شيخ كبير وقد أفند وأدركته فريضة الله في الحج ولا يستطيع أداءها فيجزئ عنه أن أؤديها عنه قال رسول الله ﷺ نعم وجعل يصرف وجه الفضل بن العباس عنها ثم أتاه رجل فقال إني رميت الجمرة وأفضت ولبست ولم أحلق قال فلا حرج فاحلق ثم أتاه رجل آخر فقال إني رميت وحلقت ولبست ولم أنحر فقال لا حرج فانحر ثم أفاض رسول الله ﷺ فدعا بسجل من ماء زمزم فشرب منه وتوضأ ثم قال انزعوا يا بني عبد المطلب فلولا أن تغلبوا عليها لنزعت قال العباس يا رسول الله إني رأيتك تصرف وجه ابن أخيك قال إني رأيت غلاما شابا وجارية شابة فخشيت عليهما الشيطان
