The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted permission to Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib, who had asked the Prophet of Allah ﷺ for permission to spend the nights of Mina in Mecca because of his duty of providing water to the pilgrims, so he permitted him.
حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرني ابن جريج حدثني عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ أذن للعباس بن عبد المطلب استأذن نبي الله ﷺ أن يبيت بمكة ليالي منى من أجل سقايته فأذن له
