The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of clay jars, gourds, and pitch-coated vessels, and said, "Use waterskins for soaking dates."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عقبة بن حريث سمعت
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الجر والدباء والمزفت وقال انتبذوا في الأسقية
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5429, see also 5494.
