I was present with Saeed bin Jubayr at Jam, where he called the iqamah for the prayer. He prayed Maghrib as three units and gave the salam, then prayed Isha as two units.Saeed reported that Abdullah bin Umar prayed in this place and did just the same, and Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did just the same in this place.

شهدت سعيد بن جبير بجمع فأقام الصلاة فصلى المغرب ثلاثا وسلم وصلى العتمة ركعتين وحدث سعيد أن عبد الله بن عمر صلاها في هذا المكان فصنع مثل ذا وحدث ابن عمر أن رسول الله ﷺ صنع مثل هذا في هذا المكان
