Messenger of Allah, what we do, is it something newly initiated or something already decreed and finished?He replied, "It is something already decreed and finished. So work, son of Khattab, for everyone is enabled toward what he was created for. Whoever is among the people of happiness will work toward happiness, and whoever is among the people of misery will work toward misery."

يا رسول الله أرأيت ما نعمل فيه أمر مبتدع أو مبتدأ أو أمر قد فرغ منه قال أمر قد فرغ منه فاعمل يا ابن الخطاب فإن كلا ميسر فأما من كان من أهل السعادة فإنه يعمل للسعادة ومن كان من أهل الشقاء فإنه يعمل للشقاء
Its isnad is daif due to the weakness of Asim bin Ubaydullah. The hadith is a repetition of 5140. In j it says Asim bin Abdullah, which is a clear mistake, and we have corrected it from l, m, and q. In k it reads, "As for those who are among the people of misfortune," which is a marginal reading in m. But in m it reads "the people of wretchedness."
