A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "What should we wear when we enter the state of ihram?"He replied, "Do not wear shirts, trousers, turbans, hooded cloaks, or leather socks, unless someone has no sandals, in which case he may wear leather socks but should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by saffron or wars dye."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا يحيى يعني ابن سعيد عن عمر بن نافع وقال يزيد مرة إن عمر بن نافع أخبره عن أبيه
أن رجلا سأل رسول الله ﷺ ما نلبس إذا أحرمنا قال لا تلبسوا القمص ولا السراويلات ولا العمائم ولا البرانس ولا الخفاف إلا أن يكون رجل ليست له نعلان فيلبس الخفين ويجعلهما أسفل من الكعبين ولا تلبسوا شيئا من الثياب مسه الزعفران ولا الورس
