Muhammad bin Abbad reported,
I instructed Muslim bin Yasar, the freed slave of Nafi bin Abdul-Harith, to ask Ibn Umar while I was sitting between them, "What did you hear from the Prophet ﷺ concerning anyone who lets his lower garment trail out of arrogance?"He replied, "I heard him say, 'Allah 
will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'"

أمرت مسلم بن يسار مولى نافع بن عبد الحارث أن يسأل ابن عمر وأنا جالس بينهما ما سمعت من النبي ﷺ فيمن جر إزاره من الخيلاء شيئا فقال سمعته يقول لا ينظر الله عز وجل إليه يوم القيامة
Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Abbad bin Jafar bin Rifa Makhzumi is a well-known trustworthy successor (tabii thiqah), whom Ibn Saad, Ibn Main, and Abu Zura confirmed as reliable, and Bukhari included him in Tarikh al-Kabir 1/1/175.As for Muslim bin Yasar, the freed slave of Nafi bin Abdul-Harith, I could not determine who he is. His patron, Nafi bin Abdul-Harith bin Jabalah, was a Khuzai and a companion, and has a biography in Isabah 6:221. Among those given biographies in the books of narrators who are named "Muslim bin Yasar," none of them is described as being of Khuzai clientage. This, however, has no bearing on the soundness of the isnad, since this man was not one of the narrators of the hadith. Rather, he was the one who asked the question in the presence of Muhammad bin Abbad, and Muhammad bin Abbad heard both the question and the answer and reported it.The meaning of this hadith has already appeared many times before, the most recent being number 5429. The addition "[bin Ubadah]" comes from one copy, and in another copy there is also a marginal note reading "concerning the one who dragged" instead of "regarding whoever dragged."
