I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever neglects the afternoon prayer until its time has passed is as if he has been bereft of his family and wealth."Shayban explained that this means he has been overcome with regard to his family and wealth.
حدثنا حسن حدثنا شيبان عن يحيى عن نافع
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ من ترك العصر حتى تفوته فكأنما وتر أهله وماله وقال شيبان يعني غلب على أهله وماله
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5313. The word ["yaqul" (he says)] was not mentioned in H, and we have included it from K and M.
