The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the lizard, and he replied, "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."

سئل رسول الله ﷺ عن الضب فقال لست آكله ولا محرمه
Its isnad is sahih. It is a repetition of 5280.
