He divorced his wife while she was menstruating, and Umar mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let him take her back until she becomes pure, then let him divorce her if he wishes."
حدثنا بهز حدثنا شعبة حدثنا قتادة عن يونس بن جبير
أنه طلق امرأته وهي حائض فذكر ذلك عمر للنبي ﷺ فقال رسول الله ﷺ ليراجعها حتى تطهر ثم ليطلقها إن شاء
Its isnad is sahih. It is an abridgment of 5321, and we have referred to the numbers of the hadiths containing this story in 5270.
