The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no umra and no ruqba. Whoever gives something as umra or ruqba, it belongs to the recipient during his life and after his death."Ibn Bakr said in his version of the hadith, Ata said, "Ruqba means it goes to whichever of the two outlives the other."Abdul-Razzaq said, "From me and from you."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر وعبد الرزاق قالا أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرني عطاء عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا عمرى ولا رقبى فمن أعمر شيئا أو أرقبه فهو له حياته ومماته قال ابن بكر في حديثه قال عطاء والرقبى هي للآخر قال عبد الرزاق مني ومنك
