He asked Ibn Umar, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Umrah in Rajab?"Ibn Umar answered, "Yes."When Ayesha was informed of this, she said, "May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdul-Rahman. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed an Umrah without him being present, yet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed Umrah in Rajab at all."
Its isnad is sahih. Habib the Teacher is Habib bin Abu Qariyah, Abu Muhammad al-Basri. He is also said to be Habib bin Zayd, and also Ibn Abu Baqiyyah. The first of these is what Bukhari presents in al-Kabir 1/2/321-322, as though he prefers it, while the last was related by Abdullah bin Ahmad, as will come up in the Musnad 7001. This Habib is trustworthy, deemed reliable by Ahmad, Ibn Main, and Abu Zura, and Bukhari mentions no criticism of him. Ata is Ibn Abu Rabah. This hadith was already referenced at 5383, where it was noted that the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) narrated its meaning through the route of Mansur from Mujahid.
