The Prophet ﷺ cut off the hand of a thief for stealing a shield worth three dirhams.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن مالك عن نافع
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قطع في مجن ثمنه ثلاثة دراهم
Its isnad is sahih. It is in the Muwatta 3:47, and it is a repeat of 5157.
