The Prophet ﷺ was asked about what garments a person in the state of ihram may wear. He said, "Do not wear shirts, turbans, hooded cloaks, trousers, or leather socks, unless someone cannot find sandals, in which case he may wear leather socks but should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by wars dye or saffron."
