The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who divorced his wife three times, after which another man married her, closed the door, drew the curtain, and removed her veil, but then divorced her before consummating the marriage. Was she lawful for her first husband?He replied, "No, not until he tastes her sweetness."

أن النبي ﷺ سئل عن رجل طلق امرأته ثلاثا ثم تزوجها رجل فأغلق الباب وأرخى الستر ونزع الخمار ثم طلقها قبل أن يدخل بها تحل لزوجها الأول فقال لا حتى يذوق عسيلتها
