I saw Ibn Umar walking in the valley between Safa and Marwa without breaking into a quick pace. I asked him about it, and he replied, "If I were to move quickly, I have indeed seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ move quickly, and if I walk, I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walk. And I am an old man."
