Whenever he was pressed for time on a journey, he would combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers after the twilight had disappeared, saying, "Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was pressed for time on a journey, he would combine the two prayers."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عبيد الله أخبرني نافع
كان إذا جد به السير جمع بين المغرب والعشاء بعدما يغيب الشفق ويقول إن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا جد به السير جمع بينهما
