The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed inside the House, and there will come to you those who forbid you from doing so, and you will listen to what he says, meaning Ibn Abbas.Hajjaj said in his version, "And you will listen to his words."Ibn Jafar said, "And Ibn Abbas was sitting close by him."
Its chain is sahih. Simak Hanafi is Simak bin Walid, whose reliability was established earlier at 203, and we add here that Bukhari mentioned him in al-Kabir 2/2/174 and said, he heard from Ibn Abbas. It was mentioned earlier that Ibn Umar asked Bilal, who told him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed inside the Kaaba, at 4464 and 4891. It was also mentioned in the Musnad of Ibn Abbas that he denied any prayer took place inside it, at 2126, 2562, 2834, 3396. But Ibn Abbas actually transmitted this from his brother Fadl bin Abbas, as was mentioned in his Musnad at 1795, 1801, 1819, 1830.What is correct is what Ibn Umar reported, because an affirming report takes precedence over a denying one. Perhaps Fadl did not see him praying, being occupied with supplication. A similar hadith will come later in abbreviated form at 5065 and 5066.
