The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the lizard and he said, "I do not eat it, but I do not forbid it either."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن مالك يعني ابن مغول عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ سئل عن الضب فقال لا آكله ولا أنهى عنه
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 4882.
