Abdul-Razzaq sometimes said "Ibn Muhammad" and at other times said "Ibn Rabia." He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, while he was standing on the steps of the Kaabah, "Praise be to Allah who fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. Indeed, every claim of distinction from the days of pre-Islamic ignorance is beneath my feet today, except for the custodianship of the Sacred House and the providing of water to the pilgrims. Indeed, for what falls between deliberate and accidental killing, namely killing with a whip or a stone, the blood-money is one hundred camels, forty of which must be pregnant females carrying their young."

عبد الرزاق كان مرة يقول ابن محمد ومرة يقول ابن ربيعة قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول وهو على درج الكعبة الحمد لله الذي أنجز وعده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده ألا وإن كل مأثرة كانت في الجاهلية فإنها تحت قدمي اليوم إلا ما كان من سدانة البيت وسقاية الحاج ألا وإن ما بين العمد والخطإ والقتل بالسوط والحجر فيها مائة بعير منها أربعون في بطونها أولادها
